For eleven years, Mary Sinda Comfort worked at the Capuchin monastery in Detroit as the secretary to the Capuchin friar who was researching Solanus Casey’s life in preparation for his beatification. Mary will be at Cross in the Woods on Thursday, March 1, at 7:00pm in the Longhouse for a presentation on the interesting details of the life of this (hopefully) soon-to-be-saint.
Back for another season, the popular series “Hidden Treasure of the Catholic Church” will pick back up its rotation in March. This Year’s theme will cover the lives of saints. Multiple presenters and topics will keep you engrossed as we delve in to some of the most fascinating details about our favorite saints. There is no cost to attend and you not need to attend all sessions. Tuesday March 6, at Cross in the Woods parish in Indian River from 7:00pm-9:00 pm Fr. Matthew Wigton will present on Our Lady of Fatima.
